The counter just turned over at 500! Can you believe it?? I started this blog on Sept. 8th 2011. It has only been 15 days! Now I know there are blogs with 51000 or more visits but I am excited at having this much traffic already!! I am having so much fun updating and adding my stuff to it. I have alot of tutorials I want to add as I have time. I also have 3 tutorials in the works that I plan to post soon..
So Thank You all for coming and keep on checking back! I will be adding lots more and I hope to post at least every other day if not every day. When I have grandkids it is harder to find the time. But hopefully you will continue to find inspiring info and I will continue to ramble about my life!! LOL Stuff you may or may not want to know! LOL
Wishing everyone great weather and wonderful family time and creative quilting or crafting time!!!
God Bless you all!

Doll Quilt
Monday, September 19, 2011
Well back to normal life meaning Kid Free life for 4 days. I need to finish this Doll Quilt and get my quilt block done for my own swap on the Quilting Board. I have several template pkgs to get ready to send out. A trip to the post office is in order today! We get out mail at the post office which is only 2 blocks away. I have a pkg waiting for me to pick up so I am curious to see if it is what I think it is. I know a friend sent me some scraps so I am almost certain it is that. But we get our prescriptions mailed and it could be a prescription or two. Necessary LOL but a bit of a downer w hen you get meds when you were looking forward to a fun pkg!! LOL
We are popaholics and the kids drank us out of pop this weekend so we are off to get more sometime today. My DH takes a lot of meds and they contribute to dry mouth so he drinks alot of water and pop. I got hooked years ago when we were first married. He would go through a case in a week or less so I guess I drank alot of pop too. DH came home from Viet Nam in 1972 with a case a day beer habit but he switched it to pop. So it has been a main stay in our lives for 36 yrs. Tho I did stop drinking all pop for about 2 yrs. It was bothering my stomach. But I craved it off and on and now I am back to drinking it again. I have switched to iced tea this summer part of the time. And in the winter I love hot green tea. It reminds me of my grandpa who always made it for me for breakfast when I stayed with them.
We are having some beautiful fall days! Tho I do miss the hum of the a/c but not the bills!! LOL I hear birds trying to nest in our a/c. Will have to go shoo them out.
Wishing you all sunshine and laughter!!!
