One of my favorite things to make are Dresden Kaleidoscopes. Here you can see a few of my favorites. They are made with a plastic template that you use to fussy cut 10 blades and sew them into a Dresden Plate pattern. This creates a kaleidoscope effect. So they are called a Dresden Kaleidoscope. These are then appliqued onto a background square usually. I have made them into hotpads and ornaments by backing them and sewing around the edge.
If you are interested in learning to make these you can email me at patchesbyr@yahoo.com and I will be happy to help you.
Hope you enjoy these fun Dresden Kaleidoscopes!! Rhonda
