Update on Alisha Jade

She is doing fantastic. She came through the surgery really well and has only had pain meds for a day and a half afterwards. She hasn't needed any meds the last couple of days and is up walking and back to being her giggling silly self again.  She and Daddy went down the hall to the play room last evening and had a good time there. If they get her blood pressure meds stabilized today she may get to go home tomarrow.

Mommy has been painting her room so when she comes home she will find a Zebra themed bedroom instead of the frilly pink polka dot room she had, Alisha has developed a fondness for zebras I guess!! LOL

Alisha is recovering well

Alisha 6 went through 10 hrs of open heart surgery yesterday. Today she is off of almost all the tubes and is doing great. If all goes well she should be able to go home within a week we hope.

My Great Granddaughter Alisha is going into open heart surgery

Alisha is 6 yrs old and she is so sweet and sassy at the same time with lots and lots of Attitude!! LOL
She was born with some  heart problems and will be having a heart valve repaired or replaced tomarrow morning. so any prayers would be appreciated. This is her 3rd surgery since birth. We know the Lord has her in His hands but we are of course nervously waiting for it to be all over. Thanks!!  Rhonda
