Quilt Idea using My July BOM

Here is a quilt designed on my EQ using my July BOM. 

I  just used the quilt block with no sashing. This is how

it would look.

 Here is another BOM designed with my shortcut blocks.

 This one uses my triple strip block. Check out the directions
 posted at the top of this page. Once you learn to make a triple strip block then you can make as many as you need in the colors shown below. then lay them out in the rows as you see in the layout picture.

You will need a 2 1/2" template to make this quilt block.

Here is another one of my original designs.

You will see the quilt block and then under that is the layout of all the individual blocks.
Pay attention to where the colors are and how the blocks are turned. 

To make this quilt block you will need a 2 1/2" template

You will also need to learn to make my Star Point Blocks


there are 4 diamonds(background color) in the center of the star points. You could put a color in there if you chose. sometimes I do and sometimes I leave it the background color. 

I prefer to use the squares on the outside rows because I get a better more accurate quilt block. but if you would prefer to use a strip in place of those 4 squares you are more than welcome to do so. It's your quilt block do it how you are most comfortable.
