Our house smells delicious today! My DH is making Deer jerky! He makes the best jerky! Several have said he should sell it. When any of our kids are here when he makes it the jerky doesn't last long! They grab sacks of it and take it with them. He is making this batch for our son Nathan. We are going to Nathan's on Sat for Christmas dinner with all of our family. We have 27 now in our family. That is only my kids and grandkids my mom and my DH and I plus my son in laws parents. They don't get together with their kids on holidays so we have always included them since our kids were married in 95.
My mom came across the left right game a long time ago and has used various versions in showers and other get togethers.
You start with a story about Mrs. Wright or about Santa or about any thing that you can find in a Left Right game. We have one about Rudolph and several others.
The story includes lots of left and right words and when you hear left you pass your unwrapped present to the neighbor on your left. When you hear right you pass it rigiht. It gets funny and fast as you try to follow the story.
She started our family playing this game at Nathan's for Christmas a couple of years ago. This year she asked me to help pickout presents for the game. She wanted something fun and something they could play with at the table. So we came across some party favors for kid parties that looked fun. I love puzzles and some of these are easy puzzles that make a ball and there are paddle balls and mini lizard punch balls and spinners and all of them are something that is a small game. They should be fun. We thought we had a lot of stuff bought but when we seperated them out into 25 sacks it was just right. We ended up putting 5 things in each sack. I love the little cardboard man with the shavings for a beard. Then you use the magnetic wand to move the shavings and give him a beard or hair on his head. They should have fun with all of the neat little gadgets.
Hope you are all having a great time this Holiday Season!

Today our youngest grandchild Colton turned 1 year old!! We are on our
way to his birthday party here shortly. I will be posting pics when I
get back later today.
Yesterday I finally got to go see our newest great grandbaby Serenity! She is a doll! So tiny! Her head just barely fits in my hand. She slept the whole time but her daddy my grandson rocked her from side to side and she opened her eyes. Apparently she doesn't like it or it at least wakes her up every time. She is supposed to sleep around 3 hrs between feedings but has been sleeping 5 hours between. So the dr told them to let her. I quess I just did what ever the baby wanted when they wanted it. I never kept mine on any schedule.
So this is a busy weekend! Yesterday Mom and I went to see Serenity and then I had to go pick up Zach on our way back. Today in a little while I am going to swap Zach at home for his sister Rachel and she is going with us to Colton's birthday party.
then Rachel will come home with me and we will go to my grandson's again today to Alisha's birthday party. She will be 6 this next Tuesday. Then I will drop Rachel off at home on our way home.
I still haven't done more than decide what I want to put in this week's EQ lesson so that is the order of the day when I get home! LOL If I'm not too tired!
Hope you are all having a great weekend!

Rambling Thoughts
I see it has been some time since I was on here! I had hoped to keep up and post every day but life gets in the way. I have been sick with bronchitis and other junk. I have really not cared if I accomplished anything, I think I have been hybernating playing pc games super texttwist and solitaire alot. It is mindless activity that soothes my soul when I am not up to dealing with anything. I know I know call it what it is procrastinating and opting out of life for awhile! LOL
But I am feeling some better tho it isn't totally gone yet. I still have not gotten to see Serenity yet. I still have a cough and my bronchitis isn't totally gone yet. But I do have more energy again and did get some templates put together and mailed. I still have more to go but am working on them. For two weeks I would look at them and just walk on by! They could wait til I felt better. So I apologize to anyone who is waiting on your templates. But they will get sent out eventually.
I finally got all my Thanksgiving stuff down and boxed up. I am now putting up my Reindeer collection which is huge and my Angel Choir which is also huge. I decided not to bother with a tree this year. I had a small one last year about a 3 ft one on top of my antique stove but that just isn't really a tree to me. I don't really have room for a big tree anymore. And it is increasingly hard for me to decorate a tree.
So I am going to enjoy the collections I love and let the rest slide this year. I also collect bells which is one of the reasons I put up the small tree last year. I used it to hang alot of my bells. I might think about creating some swags for next year to hang some of my bells on to display them. T hat sounds like a good idea. I can watch for some closeouts this year after Christmas and get some supplies to make Christmas swags. Hope I remember this idea! LOL
Hope you are all enjoying your Christmas decorating and baking and getting ready!!
Merry Christmas to all!!
You might remember to thank God for sending his Son to save the world! We wouldn't have Christmas without Christ's Birth!!
Praise Him all creatures here below!
Praise Him above ye Heavenly Hosts
Praise Father Son and Holy Ghost!!! Amen

Welcome Miss Serenity into our family!!
Our newest member of our family Serenity Elise-Lynn was born at 10:11am this morning. She was born to our grandson Cody and his wife Nicole! She joins brother Jayden 3 and Alisha almost 6. I am anxiously waiting for this cold to go away so I will be able to go over and see her and hold her in a few days. I was so disappointed in not getting to go to the hospital but you can't control colds! Darn it anyway! I had planned to be there but plans change I guess.
At least I can share a picture of her as Cody and Nicole shared their pics on Facebook so we could have them.
Here is our little bundle of joy! Our newest great granddaughter -Miss Serenity and her mommy Nicole
Including our two grand- in-laws Nicole and Dan and all 4 great grands we now have 16 grandchildren! God is good!
We will have a great Christmas this year with little ones.
Serenity is the youngest of course and then
our grandson Colton will turn 1 on Dec 17.
Adrianna great granddaughter just turned 2 in Oct and
Serenity's older brother Jayden turned 3 in Sept.
Alisha (Serenitys's big sister)will be 6 the end of Dec and then
the twins Daymon and Devon-grandsons- just turned 8 the day before Thanksgiving.
Rachel-granddaughter is 9 and
Zach -grandson will be 11 on Jan 5th.
Joey -grandson will be 13 on Dec 10 and
Jake- grandson is already 13.
The older 3 grandkids and two in-law spouses are all young adults now! They just grow up way too fast!
I hope to get more pictures as Serenity grows! It's always fun wondering what kind of personality she will have. We shall see!
